Henriette decided to take a cruise – don’t let Bailey be the navigator – Party of the Highlanders
The Sawmill next to our sleeping spot woke us in the morning, so we decided spontaneously to take a shortcut via ferry to a little peninsula.
Managed to catch the ferry.
On the little peninsula we came across Mount Stuart House. 1876 built it has the first heated indoor swimming pool.
Lovely gardens, old trees, and even as two ladies pointed out to us, a Handkerchief Tree.
By now we had figured that we were not on an peninsula. Somehow Bailey planned the trip too early in the morning. We decided she should stick to her mechanical know how from now on.
After another ferry crossing
we headed back to the mainland. Finding the camping site where the second get together is held, was the daily challenge.
We made it !
