Workout in the gardens of Goodwood House -Taking a bath in Bath – commercials never lie
Henriette drove us through green forests.
We made a stop in the gardens of Goodwood and we’re racing for the frisbee. And the winner is: Bailey!
On Board with a happy Bailey we continued our trip as there was suddenly some ratteling noice of unknown origin. By thorough examination at the next stop we found some loose cables from the cigarette lighter. BAM. The short circuit was unavoidable. Never mind, cellphones are fully charged.
Quickly we continued on our road as there was still the daily challenge to complete. Take a bath in Bath wearing a toga and a laurel wreath.
We didn’t get very far when the next rattle noise occurred. This time we found the reason immediately as the was a big screw sticking out of our front tire.
The comment of our head mechanic Bailey: “this is not supposed to be there”!
Thanks to Henriette’s former owner Klaus we are well equipped and also own a tire kit.
Commercial slogans about tire kits are surprisingly accurate. Deflate, screw on, open valve, 5 minutes later the repaired tire is as good as new!
We continued our road to Bath a little slower. As we didn’t sleep in Henriette tonight, we chose at least a dog friendly hotel in Henrietta Street across Henrietta Park!
