The Allgäu-Orient-Rallye combines the fun of driving with charity projects. In the last few years the members of the rallye were able to raise remarkable donations, for example hearing aids for children worth more than 300.000 Euros as well as donations for victims of earthquakes and refugees in Turkey.
Like every year all the cars are given to charity at the final donation to support a local project.By donating the cars, every year over hundredthousand Euros are raised. Our partner is the Turkish Red Crescent, one of the biggest aid organistations in Turkey. Amongst others they are supporting refugee projects at the syrian/turkish border.
We are transporting surgical instruments (partly donated by Ermstal-Hospital) and everyday hospital gears (gloves, dressings, injections). On board are also 3 X-Ray Images viewer, a lot of X-Ray cassettes and a sensimeter donated by the Orthopedics Lembeck&Pampel. Thank you all for your generous donations. We will bring them to a small rural hospital in Ardahan, Turkey.
Like every year the company SCOUT in Frankenthal, Germany provides super cool satchels for each team. Now we need to fill them. You can help us to put a smile on children’s faces on our trip.
Sunglasses for children
The company Augenoptik im Spital in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany provided us with sunglasses with 100 % UV-protection for children.
The Clothing Store Casa Nueve supports us with a large donation of clothes.
